More Galler Art- Dog Angels

Sure am liking this way of doodling and passing time. Here are Minnow (my sweet, long-tongued Aussie Shepherd) and Molly (Darah's girl who died this summer age 16 or something crazy like that).

Inuit and Galler-inspired art

I worked on an owl doodle the other day at French Beach, obviously inspired by all the Inuit Owls that I have seen over the years. This one is felts on thicker art paper. Fenna and I were inspired by and Etsy artist (Galler) that we saw the other day. Fenna has been working on a mermaid and a Poppy picture, and today I finished this madonna, which I prefer to think of as a Creativity Angel. It is all done with sharpies on 90lb watercolour paper. 8.5x11".

Carving class

Well, this was not exactly what I was hoping for, but it gave me an idea of what sort of carving I did NOT want to do: stuff with chisels. My bear looks more like a pig, and my horse... well, atleast Fenna was delighted with it. She coloured it up with a bunch of felts and made it look slightly more interesting!

Playing with watercolours. Somewhat inspired by the Watercolour play class I took with Wendy Walch earlier in the Spring.
